Asset Preservation Strategies
Attorneys and Advisors
APS provides a number of services to Attorneys and Advisors that provide both expertise and back office services to help your elder clients in need of Medicaid or Veterans benefits.
Our review and analysis of your client's objectives, and subsequent Planning Letter, is wholly guided by adherence to sound legal, ethical, actuarial, financial and accounting standards without regard to subsequent commissions.
We never lose sight of the fact that your client is your client. We will not contact your client unless directed to do so by you.
Even if Medicaid/Veteran's planning is not needed, we still provide thorough, skillful and unbiased analysis of your client's objectives.
Some additional benefits to your firm include free telephone conferences with your client, free assistance working with Medicaid caseworkers to verify our process or any of our products, providing state required annuity transfer refusal letters for our products.
When we help an attorney or advisor, we evaluate your client's unique circumstances, income and assets for purposes of receiving government funding or benefits. We then develop and implement individual plans for asset preservation, cost and expense reductions and long-term planning. We act as an advocate for you and your client when negotiating with insurance companies to obtain the best possible products for your client's distinct situation. We help in obtaining financial products to put the chosen plan into action. We follow up and review the plan until it has been fully implemented. We provide an outstanding level of customer service and administration even years after the plan has been in effect.
Additionally, elder care Attorneys and Advisors can contract with us to perform as a back office, managing Medicaid and Veterans benefit applications. This allows your firm to do what it does best, while leaving APS to do what we do very well, which is help in initiating Medicaid applications, dealing with the intricacies of the Medicaid application process in each state, following up and attaining a successful eligibility outcome and benefits for your client.
